IP30 – March 9: Ports and cables and cards, oh my!
At this point, all of you have cracked open a tower and had a peek (easier to see without all the dust), but ‘what is all that stuff?’, some have already been asking.
Let’s begin with the cables that everyone managed to reconnect so far (except for one case where it was found that the mouse and keyboard are not interchangeable; green to green, purple to purple, right?).
Actually, let’s get right to the assignment. Go to the IP30 module Intermediate Computer Technology and the section on Installing External Components for instructions. The assignment is a short research activity and a chart to complete.
Read this over, finish up any remaining prior activities (check the page ~IP30 Assignments), and then begin.
PS You guys are looking great this morning. I’d hate to see you crawling under the counters to disconnect computers and then get all dusty cleaning them…
