IP30 – April 18 (am)

I have had an unusual experience recently.

On the one hand, I have been receiving some of the most mature, detailed, complete, creative and organized examples of student work I have seen in my 11 or so years of teaching. What a great time in history to be a teacher! And a student, for that matter.

On the other hand, some of you have the easiest of assignments to grade (although not as rewarding as the ones I’ve been receiving); the ones that have not been submitted.

For example, did you email your response to the previous posting? I am glad I asked the question that was posted, because I received answers I would not have necessarily thought of myself. Even though the point of a project might be to learn one thing, the most useful thing someone gets out of the experience in the end might be something else.

So, if you have some items to take care of, get that straightened out today (another item: selecting a new page layout to design). Some things are likely done and just need to be checked, but if you are missing actual assignments, make arrangements to complete them this week.
