Some commonly mis-spelled words that I noticed were: beaten as beatin; coarsely as coarsly; until as untill and till was often used as an abbreviation to until.
margarine, and some of the words that are uncommon where spelt wrong, also minor errors like periods or commas
Some words I came across that were spelled wrong the most amount of time (besides all of the ones listed above) were:
- “until”
- many times people used the wrong abbreviations for tablespoon
- people wrote “&” or “+” instead of “and”
I didn’t have that many common errors but i did noticed a lot of abbreviations.
i think that this was a good experince for students becuase it teaches them how to read over and edit.. but really it was an over all waste of 2 classes,
The only word that i noticed that was spelt wrong was Velveeta. Other than that maybe a few commas and periods.
Margarin, ingredients, cheddar and macaroni were some spelling mistakes that I came across. There were also some problems with the sentence structures.
I just spelt margarine wrong!
I didnt find too many errors, but the one i did find was cheese, with a z instead of a “s”, this came up about twice.
